I think its helpful to get an idea of how much computer you actually need. I strongly suggest you spend time on the 'today we build our studio pc' thread where there is tons of information on new pc builds. If you do not intend to overclock, you can save a few dollars on the non-k 8700 which cannot be overclocked. I'm confident now that you guys have assured me cubase 10 can handle turbo boost and hyperthreading.If you are referring to my comments, all I can say is that there are people in gearslutz who spend tons of time researching these things and building machines, and the 8700k is many people's recommendation-but there are newer models coming out that are attractive as well-it depends on how much you want to spend and what you need. I spent 3 hours last night researching the type of cooler I need if I don't intend to overclock. I think I'm gonna invest in the 8700k then and upgrade to cubase 10. ![]() Hey there thanks for your recommendation.
